Training & Placement Cell
The
College has a Training & Placement cell headed by a
Professor designated as a Placement Officer and supported by a
Placement Coordinator of each department. The Training &
Placement cell provides
the best arrangements for visiting officials of various companies
coming for recruitment. The Training & Placement Cell has been
striving continuously for the placement of the students in reputed
organizations.The Training & Placement cell is also actively
involved in developing the technical and soft skills of
students.
Training
& Placement cell - MBA conducts a series of student development
programmes for the accomplishment of the noble task of placement.
These programmes are streamlined into the following categories:
- Five days orientation programme before
the commencemnt of regular class work
- Carrer planning programme -
Specialization orientation in the second semester
- Placement training in the second/third
semesters (Soft & Life skills)
- Executive Finishing Programme (EFP) in
the third semester.
Objectives of Training & Placement Cell
- To organize training and development
programmes in order to hone the student skills and transform them into
professionals
- To secure maximum number of placements
for B.Tech and MBA course students
- To coordinate training programmes for
faculty and other staff members
- To coordinate seminars and workshops in
Engineering and Management
- To identify resource persons for Guest
Lectures including "Meet the CEO" programme
